Hebei North University (HEBNU) is a government administrated multi-faculty university, which offers Bachelor’s Degree programs and Master’s Degree programs. The university was established in September 2003 by merging three provincial universities, namely Zhangjiakou Medical College, Zhangjiakou Teachers College, and Zhangjiakou Agricultural College, with the approval of the Ministry of Education.

Graduated Students from Hebei North University can apply for USMLE, UKMLA/PLAB, GMC, AMC, and almost all the medical licensing certifications abroad. The Hebei North University has 5,306 faculty members (including two directly affiliated hospitals). Among them, there are 1,495 staff members in the school headquarters, 200 teachers with senior professional titles, 441 teachers with associate senior professional titles; 1,234 teachers with doctoral and master’s degrees; and 1,221 master’s supervisors inside and outside the school.

Admission Criteria:
The age limit to apply for the bachelor’s degree program is 18-25 years. International students interested in the Medicine program at Hebei North University must have a 60% score in the Senior High School Diploma/WAEC/A-levels/Grade 12. IELTS or TOEFL are not required to apply.
The school will conduct online interviews on WeChat with the international students. After a successful interview, the School of Medicine issues the formal admission acceptance letter.
