International University of Kyrgyzstan (IUK-ISM) MBBS Fee 2026

The International University of Kyrgyzstan (IUK) was established by the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 74 dated 11 March 1993 and is a University with the status of an International Higher Education Institution.

At a later stage, the University was transformed into the “International University of Kyrgyzstan” (IUK) Academic Consortium by the Decree of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 53 dated 12 February 2003.

International University of Kyrgyzstan (IUK-ISM) is recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) and WDOMS. IUK-ISM is approved by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC), and graduates are eligible to apply for the NRE Medical licensing examination to practice Medicine in Pakistan. IUK-ISM is also approved by the National Medical Commission of India (NMC).

IUK-ISM Eastern Medical Campus:

In 2018, the Eastern Medical Campus of the International University of Kyrgyzstan was established. The Eastern Medical Campus is newly designed, fully furnished & secure for international students. At present, more than 1500 Pakistani males and females are studying General Medicine (MD) at IUK-ISM.

ISM Vedanta Hospital is located in the center of Bishkek. The Hospital is a multidisciplinary specialized center that provides medical care to the people of Kyrgyzstan.

MD General Medicine Program and Cost:

The International University of Kyrgyzstan (IUK) is one of the famous private universities in Kyrgyzstan, offering the five-year General Medicine (MD) Degree program in English.

The total cost of the MD General Medicine program at IUK-ISM is USD 3,400 per semester. This fee includes tuition, hostel accommodation, and three meals per day (mess/food expenses), making it one of the most affordable all-inclusive medical programs for international students. Traveling Expenses (airfare) are not included in this.

PM&DC Eligibility Criteria:

According to the rules and regulations of PM&DC, Pakistani students applying for the General Medicine (MD) Program in Kyrgyzstan must have a minimum of 60% in FSc/HSSC (Pre-Medical) and 50% Marks in the MDCAT Exam to be eligible to apply for the MBBS/MD in Kyrgyzstan.

⚠️ Warning!

Students who fail to meet the minimum eligibility requirements in FSc (Pre-Medical) or the MDCAT are ineligible to appear in the National Registration Examination (NRE) conducted by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC) after graduation. Consequently, such graduates are not eligible to obtain medical registration and cannot legally practice medicine in Pakistan.

Admission Criteria:

International students applying for the General Medicine (MD) Program at IUK-ISM Kyrgyzstan must follow the following Admission criteria.

• The age limit for applying is 16-25 years.
• Students must be healthy and fluent in English.
• Applicants must have a valid passport.
• Students must have a minimum score of 60% in their Senior High School/HSSC/A-Levels.
• Students must have 50% marks on the MDCAT Exam.

MBBS/MD Fee Structure of IUK-ISM for Pakistani Students 2026-2027:

The total first-semester fee package for the MD General Medicine program at IUK-ISM is USD 5,700 (approximately PKR 1.6 million). From the second semester onwards, the fee is USD 3,400 per semester (approximately PKR 1 million), which includes tuition, hostel accommodation, and mess (food) facilities.

• Students will pay the First Semester Fee on arrival in USD.
• The fee, once paid, will not be refunded.
• Students will follow the rules and regulations of IUK-ISM and the Education Ministry of Kyrgyzstan.
• Students are required to comply with the university’s hostel accommodation policies and hostel availability.
• Pakistani & Indian Students will follow the Policies of the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) & the National Medical Council of India (NMC), respectively.

Admission Process:

International University of Kyrgyzstan (IUK-ISM) accepts foreign students for both September and January intakes every year. Students are required to submit the basic documents of SSC, HSSC, passport, and a digital photo to start the application procedure.

After paying the USD 150 application fee, students will receive their Acceptance Letter within 3–5 working days and their e-Visa Letter within 7–10 working days. Student can pay their first semester fee on arrival in Kyrgyzstan.
