Admission Procedure Astana Medical University:

For getting MBBS/MD admission in Astana Medical University Kazakhstan students needs to complete the following documents :

  1. Passport first page Scan
  2. SSC/O-Levels Document
  3. HSSC/Intermediate or A Levels Document (result awaiting students can also apply)

Astana Medical University issues the admission letter in normally 3-5 working days  and after admission confirmation letter students need to pay 300$ to EaziLine International for the Invitation Visa letter by the Ministry of Foreign affairs. Visa invitation letter by Foreign Ministry takes 20-30 days normally.

Astana Medical University is accepting international students for MBBS/MD degree program 2 times in one year, Fall & Spring intake or you can say September and January/February intake, but if the seats filled timely , Astana Medical University will only accepts the applications for September intake. Student’s arrival time in Astana Medical University is October or November & classes starts soon after the deadline of registration.


History of NJSC Astana Medical University:

On 26th October 1964 the Council of Ministers of the Republic had adopted the resolution on the opening of a Medical Institution in Tselinograd. In 1997 the institute was reorganized into the Academy, and in January 2009 it gained the university status. Based on the resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan the University entered into the structure of the National Medical Holding. It is significant that the change in the name and status of the university was followed by an increase in the number of courses and students. Moreover, the academic credit system and three-tiered system of education with Bachelor, Masters, and PhD Degrees were introduced. The status of the University sets forth new objectives in the areas of medical education and science, thereby uncovering broad perspectives for the long-term sustainable development.

Faculties in Astana Medical University: 

There are seven faculties in Astana Medical University. These are Internal Medicine, Dentistry, Public Health, Nursing, Preventive Care, Pharmacy, and Postgraduate Education. Other than these faculties, there is also additional medical education available to those enrolled with the university.

When it comes to the staff of this university, it entails 873 teachers who impart quality medical education to a whopping 5,185 students of the university. There are also 112 doctors of medical science, 280 candidates of medical science, 62 professors and 67 associate professors.
