Ningbo University (NBU) is a key university in Zhejiang, China, that was set up in 1986 with donations from Sir Yue-Kong Pao, the shipping magnate in Hong Kong. It is one of the Double first-class universities in China, enjoying joint support from the provincial government of Zhejiang, the Ministry of Education (MOE), and Ningbo Municipality, as well as from the State Oceanic Administration and Ningbo Municipality. The Medical School Starts medical subjects from day one and the Chinese language side by side in the first year of Medical Education. Chinese Proficiency test (HSK-4) is not compulsory to Pass in the First year.
