Mechanical Engineering & Civil Engineering in Henan Polytechnic University is one of the earliest disciplines founded by Henan Polytechnic University. Its predecessor was the Department of Mechanical Engineering established in July 1946. In 1947, the Department of Mechanical Engineering was merged with the Northwest College of Engineering. In October 1950, the Department of Mechanical Engineering was re-established, and then it passed through the Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Jiaozuo Mining Institute, the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Jiaozuo Mining Institute and the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Jiaozuo Institute of Technology. May 2005 was renamed the School of Mechanical and Power Engineering.

The School of Electrical Engineering and Automation was founded in 1938. It was formerly known as the Department of Electrical Engineering. It was in the Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (1958) and the Department of Electrical Engineering (1986). In 2005, it was renamed the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation. Through the joint efforts of several generations of electricians, great progress and development have been made in personnel training, scientific research, and discipline construction. Excellent traditional and school-running characteristics have been formed, and a large number of outstanding talents have been cultivated for the country. Widely praised and affirmed. The college has two key disciplines in Henan Province: electrical engineering, control science and engineering. It has a doctoral degree in mining control engineering, two master’s degree programs in electrical engineering and control science and engineering, and two master’s degree programs in engineering and electrical engineering, and a master’s degree in engineering.

From 2nd year to onward per year = 10,000 RMB (1500-U$D)
Tuition Fee = 6000 RMB/year

Special Notes:

  1. Student will pay the Fee in Chinese Yuan on arrival otherwise hostel will not allot to the student.
  2. Air Ticket, Food Expenses, Electricity , internet & other miscellaneous expenses are not included in the fee package.
  3. Hostels provided by HPU for foreign students are fully furnished and well equipped & in Campus, Students are not allowed to stay outside during the education, Muslim Canteens are available for Muslim Students in campus.
