Chinese Universities have compulsory first-year Chinese Language!

These words you will hear from almost all agents those are dealing Chinese/non-Chinese medical universities.

WHY?

YOU WILL HEAR THESE LINES FROM “ONLY AGENTS THOSE ARE NOT DEALING CHINESE MOE LISTED (ENGLISH TAUGHT UNIVERSITIES) OR THOSE ARE UNAUTHENTIC AGENTS EVEN HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT LISTED/NON-LISTED UNIVERSITIES OR Those have never signed a Single Chinese University officially, OR Those are  Wandering Agents OR Those just want to put students in other Countries.”
Let me elaborate on the fact that Chinese Universities are demanding HSK-4 at the end of the first year for promotion in the Clinical Medicine (MBBS) Program of 5 years!

There are 2 Categories of Chinese Universities offering the MBBS programs.

  1. MBBS (English Taught)
  2. MBBS (Chinese/Bilingual Taught)
The First Category (MBBS in English):

MBBS (English Taught). These Universities are called MOE Listed Universities. They have Legal Medium English registered in the Ministry of Education of China (MOE China). Only 45 Universities (MOE LIST) are in the List of English-taught MBBS programs.

  • These universities have high fees, with the range starting from 30,000 RMB to 50,000 RMB per year.
  • On the original Admission letter of the listed universities, they properly mentioned English Taught MBBS.
  • These universities are mostly comprehensive universities that are part of the 211 project.
  • Course Duration is 5+1 (5 years Medical + 1 year Internship )
  • From the very first day, they are teaching Medical Subjects in the English Medium.
  • The Curriculum and Education Standard is much better.
  • NO Boundary of HSK-4 to pass in the first year.
  • The MCI (Medical Council of India) and BM&DC (Bangladesh Medical Council) allow only these 45 Universities for Medical Study. Other than these 45 universities, they are not accepting any others.
  • Credit hours of Medical Subjects are more as compared to other universities.
The 2nd Category (MBBS in Chinese/Bilingual):

MBBS (Chinese/Bilingual Taught). These Universities are called NON-Listed Universities. They have a Legal Medium of MBBS (Chinese Medium) registered in the Ministry of Education of China (MOE China). In addition to the 45 universities mentioned above, the remaining universities are referred to as non-listed or unlisted universities.

  • These universities have low fees, with the range starting from 18,000 RMB to 30,000 RMB per year.
  • On the original admission letter from non-listed universities, they cannot write ‘English-Taught MBBS’ or can only write ‘Chinese Medium MBBS’ legally. That’s why non-listed Colleges/universities require passing HSK-4 in the first year.
  • From the very first day, they are teaching the CHINESE LANGUAGE for 1 year.
  • Chinese Language HSK-4 to pass in the first year by Compulsory.
  • Course Duration is 1+4+1 ( First year Chinese, after Passing HSK-4 + Medical Study 04 years + 1 year internship)
  • Credit hours of Medical Subjects are not as many as compared to the listed universities.
  • Once the student passes HSK-4, some universities still teaching MBBS in English, even though they are not allowed to. For Pakistani students, if a student chooses a non-listed university have no problem because the PM&DC has been providing eligibility for many years for non-listed universities. Because, according to the PM&DC rules, the University must be registered in the WHO; that’s it.
If Students can afford the high fee for China, they have no problem with the first year of Chinese Language. They can get admission in MOE Listed Universities if they have good grades & Pakistani/African & some Asian countries’ students can also get admission in a non-listed university (only after the confirmation of Medium after HSK-4 by an authentic official person).
So those Agents are misleading the students just to promote other countries. Stop doing this. Chinese universities are the largest government universities in the world, with a very good reputation and rankings; their labs, accuracy in fee packages, fully furnished hotels, hospitals, living standards, safety, and security. In short, Chinese universities are the best, whether they are listed or non-listed. Not a Single Asian Country can compare to the Chinese University in a single aspect.
