Chinese medical universities offer high-quality, affordable medical education for international students. With globally recognized Medicine (MBBS) programs, modern facilities, and excellent clinical training, China has become one of the top destinations for studying medicine abroad.

CSCA Examination Guidelines:

In early 2026, the Chinese Ministry of Education officially implemented the CSCA Examination Policy for international students applying to bachelor’s degree programs at Chinese universities. Applicants seeking admission to programs such as MBBS, BDS (Dentistry), Pharmacy, Nursing, Science, and Arts are required to complete the CSCA assessment as part of the university admission process.

MBBS in China without the CSCA Exam:

Most MOE-listed universities in China now require a valid CSCA examination result as part of the admission process for international students.

However, a few well-established and highly preferred medical universities currently do not require the CSCA examination for eligible international applicants, making the admission process more convenient and providing a smoother pathway to enrollment, including Shihezi University, Ningxia Medical University, and Hunan University of Chinese Medicine.

These Chinese medical universities do not require a CSCA examination result at the time of admission; they may ask students to complete the CSCA examination after they arrive in China.

It is also recognized as one of the most affordable medical universities, with an annual tuition fee of approximately USD 5,000.
