Anhui Medical College 安徽医科大学 was established in 1952 in Hefei, Anhui province. It is one of the earliest universities in Anhui Province and the first medical college in Anhui Province. The school’s predecessor was Southeast Medical University, which was founded in Shanghai in 1926. The Ministry of Education selected it for the construction of high-level public health colleges in 2022.

Anhui Medical University is admitting international students for its MBBS (English-taught) program in 2009. The Medicine Program consists of six years of medical study, including the last year of internship.
