Mudanjiang Medical College, founded in 1958, is located in Mudanjiang City, an important central city and scenic tourism city in the southeast of Heilongjiang Province. In May 2024, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the school was officially renamed Mudanjiang Medical University.

The Mudanjiang Medical University covers an area of more than 700,000 square meters, with a construction area of more than 350,000 square meters, and the total value of teaching and scientific research instruments and equipment exceeds 278 million yuan. Clinical Medicine Cost 2026-2027:
Mudanjiang Medical University is offering a Low-cost medicine program (MBBS) for international students. The annual Cost of the Medicine Program at Mudanjiang University is 22,800 RMB ($3350), including both tuition and accommodation (two students sharing a room). This price does not include airfares or food expenses.
HSK Exam Policy:
International students pursuing a clinical medicine degree (MBBS) at Mudanjiang Medical University must pass HSK-4 before getting the Clinical Medicine Degree.
International Students:
Mudanjiang Medical University is hosting foreign Medical students from more than 20 countries. Foreign students are studying Clinical Medicine and the Chinese language programs. The majority of foreign students are from Hong Kong, Macau, Lesotho, Botswana, Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia, Yemen, Zambia, Algeria, and Tanzania, as well as other African and Arab countries.
MBBS Admission Criteria:
International students interested in studying Clinical Medicine at Mudanjiang Medical University must meet the following admission Criteria.
- IELTS or TOEFL is not required.
- Applicants must have a valid passport and be non-Chinese citizens.
- Applicant must have a minimum of 60% marks in their Senior High School/HSSC/WAEC/or A-Levels.
- The age requirement for the Medicine program is 18-25 years.
- Mudanjiang Medical University does not require an entrance examination.
- The student must provide a financial guarantee or bank statement with a minimum account balance of $5000.
- Students must be fluent in English, and an English proficiency letter can be requested.
