Jiujiang University (JJU) is a public comprehensive university accredited by the Ministry of Education of China. The university is located in Jiujiang (Jiangxi), a pleasant and vibrant city. The city has a history of 2,200 years and is well known for its rivers, lakes, mountains, and cultural relics. Jiujiang University offers 88 undergraduate programs, covering fields such as Clinical Medicine, engineering, science, economics, management, education, fine arts, agriculture, and law, etc.

The Jiujiang University is on the World Directory of Medical Schools list and accredited by the World Health Organization (WHO). MBBS Degree is approved by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC). International Students holding Clinical Medicine (MBBS) Degrees can apply for the Medical licensing examinations of USMLE, UKMLA/PLAB, GMC, AMC, and ECFMG.

University Facilities:
Jiujiang University has an inside campus dormitory for international students having all the necessary facilities for the international students. Hostels are furnished for international students. There is a Muslim cafeteria and public kitchen as well.
The campus environment and teaching, cultural, and sports facilities are first-class in China. There are museums, art galleries, concert halls, dance theaters, large indoor comprehensive gymnasiums, tennis halls, billiard halls, badminton halls, rock climbing halls, swimming pools shooting halls, and other professional gymnasiums.
Clinical Medicine Program and Fees:
Jiujiang University School of Medicine Started accepting international students for the Medicine Program (MBBS) in 2007. The Medicine Program offered by Jiujiang University has the lowest cost with a course duration of Six years, including the last year of the Clinical Internship. MBBS Fee for the International Student is 24,000 RMB/year ($3400) which includes tuition and dormitory expenses. Apart from their overall expenses, students have to arrange for food costs, which are roughly 1,000 RMB ($140) per month.

Jiujiang University has Two “Grade 3 Class A” affiliated hospitals. The University Hospital and Dentistry Hospital, are the regional medical centers providing medical services, scientific research, and medical education for Jiangxi and the neighboring provinces.
Admission Requirments:
Students must have a minimum of 65% grades in Senior high school/A-Levels/WAEC and can apply for the Medicine or Dentistry program. There are no requirements for IELTS or TOEFL. The age limit to apply is 18-25 for the bachelor’s degree program at Jiujiang University. For the Chinese-taught programs, Students must study the Chinese language for the first year and after Passing the HSK-4 exam, Students can start the bachelor’s degree program formally.
Scholarships:
Jiujiang University offers different types of scholarships for international students, are based on academic performance which will be analyzed by the end of each year. The scholarship prizes range from 5000 RMB to 8000 RMB and are awarded to outstanding students in the class. Recently, Jiujiang University offered a Partial scholarship for the Dentistry Program, It is a 5000 RMB/year Scholarship. The University has a One Belt and One Road Scholarship for the ASEAN and CIS countries.
Jiujiang University MBBS/BDS Fee Structure for Pakistani and International Students 2025-2026:
MBBS Fee for Pakistani students is 10 Lakh PKR Per year which includes the Tuition and hostel fee. There are double-sharing rooms in the hostel for international students. MBBS Degree duration is 6 years in total including the first year of Chinese language and the 6th year of Hospital Internship. HSK-4 to Pass in First year is Compulsory to Start the MBBS Program of five years.
