Degree Awarding = MD (General Medicine)
Admission Merit Criteria : Students having Minimum 50% Marks in Physics, Chemistry, English, Biology.

First Year Total Fee Package = 5300 U$D

History of KRASGMU:

In November 1942  Voronezh Dental Institute, parts of 1st and 2nd Leningrad Medical Institutes, and Leningrad Pediatric Dental Institute, the Krasnoyarsk Medical Institute were united.

Formation of a new high school was held in stressful conditions. Local government, existing institutions, technical schools, hospitals, industrial enterprises of Krasnoyarsk Territory and other regions and territories of Siberia helped to organize new educational institution. Due to  this help in the new university was provided with educational clinical bases, all necessary equipment, reagents, teaching aids, and began to prepare the medical staff for the front.  First graduates – several dozen doctors – six months later went to the front. Many  graduated students in later years began their professional career at the front of World War II.

Initially, the university had only general medicine faculty. In 1958  was opened pediatric faculty, and three years later – Faculty of Advanced Medicine. In 1978  Faculty of Dentistry was established, 1992 – Faculty of Higher Nursing Education. In 2005, the Institute of Dentistry was established on the basis of the Faculty of Dentistry.

In June 1995 Russian Ministry of Health Ordered to rename Krasnoyarsk State Medical Institute into Krasnoyarsk State Medical Academy. In 2007,  Academy was given the name of Professor V.F .Vojno-Yasenetsky, and in 2008  KrasGMA assigned  medical university status.

In recent years all lecture halls, a large part of the area departments of theoretical and clinical profile, gymnasium, auditorium, library, dormitory were upgraded. Annually KrasGMU organize up to 10 conferences with international participation in priority areas ,educational and scientific activities (for this purpose was opened the international hall  with simultaneous translation).
