Perm State Medical University Russia named after E.A. Wagner, is located in the city of Perm, Perm Krai, Russia. Perm State Medical University is recognized by the major organizations like WHO, UNESCO and MCI. PSMU is a member of The Association of Medical Schools in Europe. Students’ Life in Perm State Medical University Russia:
Students of the Perm state medical University actively participate in the work of international student congresses, conferences, seminars, international volunteer movement. Results of their investigations are published in foreign journals. They regularly train at foreign university hospitals during summer holidays and organize the similar study courses for foreign students. Students take part in with free tour tickets in swimming-pool, sport and health-improving center tickets, theater tickets, valuable presents, receive welfare.
Facilities provided to the students with:

- The campus has 50 hectares of land near a large park. It has 27 buildings, sport and medical facilities, hostels and shops. Out of these, 12 hostels have comfortable and cozy rooms with attached kitchens. There is a television and the internet access in each room. There are other facilities provided for students such as dry-cleaners, beauty salons, etc.
- there are various sports activities in the University. The University itself has rooms for gymnastics, handball, basketball, and football grounds. There are tennis courts and pools in all the buildings. The University campus has an international post office, a shopping center, an international student cultural center, a computer center, a telephone center, and some amazing restaurants that has national cuisine of the different countries.
- The boundaries of the University are fully fenced. There is an electronic gate pass system that is strictly maintained for everyone. The visitors can enter only after they show their identity identifications. Fire Prevention System is there within the premises of the University.
About Perm City :
Perm is the administrative center of Perm Krai, Russia. Perm is famous as the port on the Kama River, a large industrial, scientific, cultural, and logistic center of the Urals. The population of Perm city is about 1,036,000 (2015), the area – 800 sq. km. During 19th century, Perm became a major trade and industrial center of Russia having a population almost 20,000 people. The city had many metallurgy, paper, and steamboat producing factories, including one factory owned by a British entrepreneur. In 1870, the first opera theater was opened in the Perm city. Then in the year 1871, the first phosphoric factory of Russia was built in Perm.
Gradually, the city showed a rapid growth in many sectors and one of them was the education sector. In 1916, Perm State medical University was established in Perm.
