Youjiang Medical College for Nationalities is located in Baise City, Guangxi. It was founded in 1958 and is a full-time general undergraduate college responsible for training undergraduates, postgraduates, and international students. It is the largest higher medical education center in the border area of “two countries and three provinces” (the two countries are China and Vietnam, and the three provinces are Guangxi, Yunnan, and Guizhou).

The Youjiang Medical University covers an area of 1,600 acres, with two campuses, 2 directly affiliated hospitals, 7 non – directly affiliated hospitals, and 89 teaching practice bases. Clinical Medicine (MBBS) and Cost:
Youjiang Medical University for Nationalities offers the Clinical Medicine (MBBS) Program for international students. The Cost of Medicine study at Youjiang Medical University is 23,500 RMB/year ($3400) including Tuition and dormitory costs. The Clinical Medicine Program consists of Six years of Medicine Program which includes the first year of the Chinese language and five years of Clinical Medicine study which consists of the last year of the Internship.
International Students:
In 2001, Youjiang Medical University admitted the first batch of international students from Vietnam. As of March 2017, Youjiang Medical School enrolled 243 international students in the Medicine Program. International Students enrolled in Clinical Medicine Program were from more than 20 nationalities including Pakistan and Africa. Currently, more than 400 international students from different countries are studying in the Medicine Program, Morroco, Nigeria, Vietnam, Pakistan, Indonesia, Tanzania, Nigeria, Lesotho, and others.
MBBS fees for Pakistani Students:
The MBBS Fee for Pakistani Students is approximately 9.5 lakh PKR, which includes the tuition and hostel fee for one year. Pakistani students who complete an MBBS Degree from Youjiang Medical University for Nationalities are qualified to apply for the Medical Licensing Examination in Pakistan, as recognized by PM&DC.
The MBBS Degree duration at Youjiang Medical University has a six-year program including the sixth year of Internship in the attached hospitals of the university. Youjiang Medical University has hosted more than 300 Pakistani students in the last three years for studying the MBBS Program.
Scholarships:
Youjiang Medical University for Nationalities offers various scholarships for international students studying Medicine (MBBS). Excellent Student scholarship is 2000 RMB given to the students at the end of every year, solely based on the performance of students. Students in the top three positions can get a scholarship prize starting from 5000 RMB. The Youjiang School offers scholarships for ASEAN and CIS countries in the program of Chinese language (Mandarin).
Admission Requirments:
While Applying to Youjiang Medical University for Nationalities, international students must fulfill the admission criteria with a minimum of 60% marks in Senior High School/WAEC/GCE A-Levels (Grade 12) to apply for the Clinical Medicine (MBBS). The age limit to apply is 18-29. Youjiang Medical University is a Non-MOE Listed Medical School in China and the teaching Medium is Bilingual. IELTS and TOEFL are not required to apply to Youjiang Medical University for Nationalities.
HSK Requirments:
In Youjiang Medical University, Students will study the Chinese language in the first year. By the end of the First year, it is mandatory to Pass HSK-level 3 in the first year to be promoted to the Clinical Medicine (MBBS) program for five years. Students must pass HSK-5 before obtaining a medical degree (MBBS) and HSK-4 before their internship.
