Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology (JIFT) is a full-time private undergraduate institute authorized by the Ministry of Education of China. It is a professional institute characterized by clothing education and oriented to the fashion industry, which focuses on cultivating high-level professionals in creative design, engineering technology, market promotion and management.

JIFT now has seven academic schools for full time undergraduate education: School of Fashion Design, School of Fashion Engineering, School of Art Design, School of Fashion Media, School of Business, School of Humanities, School of Big Data, in addition, there are two teaching departments: School of Marxism and Military Sports Department. There are 25 majors for undergraduates, and 22 majors for junior colleges. It is also featured with a subject professional system of arts, engineering, management, economy and liberal arts.
The school currently has nearly 15,000 full-time undergraduate and junior college students. It has a team of full-time and part-time teachers with noble morality, reasonable structure, high quality and high teaching level, including 90 professors and other senior titles, 225 associate professors and other associate senior titles, 4 provincial-level teaching teachers, and provincial-level teachers.

In recent years, the institute has gained increasing recognition and reputations from all walks of life. It has been granted a number of honorary titles, such as “the Top Ten Colleges of Characteristic Specialties”. The school has been rated as “China Textile Industry Talent Construction Demonstration College ”by China Textile Industry Federation for many times. In 2020, it was awarded the “national demonstration school for national unity and progress” by the State Ethnic Affairs Commission. From 2014 to 2019, the institute won the advanced unit of safe construction (Comprehensive Management) in the province for eight consecutive years. From 2015 to 2020, the institute won the “China Fashion Design Education Award” for six consecutive years.
School of Fashion Design:
Founded in 2004, the School of Fashion Design is the largest fashion design school in the country. It has been committed to cultivating high-quality fashion industry talents with international perspectives such as fashion creative designers and apparel designers.
The college now has 2 undergraduate majors in clothing and clothing design (fashion design, clothing design), product design (brand planning and fashion buyers, luxury design and management); clothing and clothing design (clothing design, fashion design), shoes Class Design and Technology 2 specialist majors.
School of Fashion Engineering:
The fashion design and engineering major of the college is now a national first-class professional construction point. The School of Garment Engineering adheres to the characteristics of art and engineering, and further promotes the reform of education and teaching. In 2017, it won the honorary title of “2017 National Textile Industry Talent Construction Model College” by China Textile Industry Federation.
The college currently has three undergraduate majors in fashion design and engineering, textile engineering and fashion design and technology education, and a junior college major in fashion design and technology. There are currently more than 1,600 students in the school , and the employers evaluate the graduates for their high quality and ability. Strong and solid basic skills.

JIFT college’s clothing and apparel design major ranks first in the province’s comprehensive professional evaluation and is rated as a provincial-level first-class specialty, and the footwear design and technology major is a provincial-level specialty.

Student can be expelled from the university or Student can be Charged with fine of 20,000 RMB to 50,000 RMB, Imprisoned for 03 months or Black listed in China for 05 years (Depends on the policy of Chinese Government). So, We will not suggest to any student to think about the work during study to secure his/her bright future.
