The annual cost for the MBBS (English-taught) Program in China, at a BM&DC-approved university, for the Bangladeshi students is from 35,000 RMB (600,000 BDT) to 45,000 RMB (800,000 BDT) per year, including tuition and accommodation fees for the entire academic year (2 semesters).
This cost does not include food and travel expenses. The monthly cost of food is about 800–1000 RMB ($150).
Low-Cost Universities in China for MBBS:
Ningxia Medical University and Shihezi University offer the most affordable tuition fees for Bangladeshi students among all BM&DC-approved universities in China that offer MBBS in the English medium. MBBS/BDS Admission Criteria for Bangladeshi Students 2026-2027:
Bangladeshi students applying to the BM&DC-approved Chinese universities for the MBBS or BDS (English-taught) Program must meet the following admission Criteria:
- CSCA exam results are required; each university’s internal policy will decide passing marks.
- The applicant must be a non-Chinese citizen.
- IELTS or TOEFL is not required.
- Applicant must have a minimum score of 60% in senior high school/HSC/grade 12 or GCE A-levels.
- Students must study a combination of physics, chemistry, biology, and English in their senior high school curriculum.
- Students must be between the ages of 16 and 25.
- The applicant must be healthy (both physically and mentally).
- Students must be fluent in English, and an English proficiency letter can be requested.
Documents Required:
The following is a detailed list of the documents required for the application for a bachelor’s degree in Clinical Medicine (MBBS) at any medical school in China.
- Application Form (Filled manually).
- Senior High School/HSC/A-Levels.
- A passport with a validity period of one year.
- A digital photo with a white background (Format: JPG, 100-500KB).
- Foreigner Physical Examination Form.
- Police Character Certificate (non-Criminal record).
- A bank statement from the student or sponsor (ranging from USD 5,000 to USD 25,000 or the equivalent in local currency) showing in their bank account.
Application time and deadline:
Chinese Medical Universities, which are MOE-listed and BM&DC-approved, accept the MBBS (English-taught) applications twice a year. Starting on March 1 and concluding on October 30 is the period for the Autumn intake (September). From November 1st to March 30th, the spring (March intake) is in session.

Foreign students are required to pay an application fee of 1,000 RMB ($145) or 18,000 BDT (depending on the university) to initiate the application process in China.
