MBBS in China for Indian Students Fee 2023, NMC Approved Universities

In year 2010-2011, MOE China allowed few medical universities to teach MBBS in English Medium. By the year of 2014-2015, MOE China officially approved 45 medical universities in China to impart MBBS course in English medium for international students.

If any Indian student interested to study medicine in China in English medium, they have to MAKE SURE to get admissions ONLY in the 45 listed medical universities of China which ranges from 3,50,000 INR to 5,00,000 INR fees per year. If any local agent guides you for any other medical universities except these 45 MOE listed universities, you will NOT be able to appear for the FMGE Examination which is held by Medical Council of India (NMC).

Here is the List of 45 MOE China Listed Universities, these colleges are Approved by NMC India, allowed the Indian students to teach MBBS in English Medium for 2022-2023

Some of the medical colleges in China started the concept of bilingual courses, where Many local agents from India misguided the students by saying that they will have MBBS education in English as well as in Chinese medium. Whereas in the first year, the students would study in Chinese language and then from second year they would have normal English medium classes. Most of the students from India would prefer this only because these medical colleges have very low fees compared to the English teaching MBBS universities.

Since last couple of years, many Indian students faced problems in such kind of bilingual medical universities and had complained to the Indian Embassy in China. This is the major reason MOE China had to publicly declare a statement to the Indian Embassy about the 45 MOE Listed medical universities which are approved to teach MBBS education in English medium.

Following Chinese universities are Approved by NMC India. Graduated students are eligible for FMGE, WFME, MCI, NMC, BMDC, SLMC, ECFMG, WCAME, USMLE, GMC, AMC & PLAB Certification.

Normally Chinese universities are not offering MBBS/B.D.S scholarships on admission basis, but sometimes provincial government offers some kind of partial scholarships and sometime full tuition free MBBS Scholarships which can be apply thorough the authorized agent of any university. The authorized agency will charge the Scholarship Seat charges and apply for you.

In Some Chinese universities there are Performance based Scholarships for MBBS program, but this scholarship is offered by university and it is totally dependent on the performance of the student. The Scholarships offering for international students by Chinese Government have a different Categories are:

1. One Road One Belt Scholarship
2. University Presidential Scholarships
3. University Partial Scholarships
4. Local government Scholarships

Some Scholarships are announced for Special nominated Countries e.g. ASEAN, CIS Countries, One Belt one Road Countries. These Days Chinese government wants to invite some ASEAN & CIS Countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Kazakhstan for Medical Study on full scholarships but it is not for all the universities, every Chinese University & provincial government have their own policy.

Keep in Mind some Chinese universities are offering Scholarships but those are in Chinese Medium, So before applying and going to China students must make sure about the language of instruction. Students can get admission letter from the official admission agency of University for the clarification of Medium. For Scholarships offered by university, Student will get Jw202 and if the Scholarship is offered by Chinese Scholarship Council Student will get Jw201 in that case. China is one of the developing countries which offer Partial and Fully-Funded scholarships to the almost all the countries of the world. China offers normally Bachelors, Masters, PG (post graduation), MPhil and Ph.D. in several programs of Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences, Medical/ Biological Sciences, Business Education, Engineering and Technology etc.

The basic eligibility for getting MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery) admission in China for Indian students is important to describe here. 1. IELTS or TOEFL is not required for English Medium MBBS admissions in China.
2. There is No Entrance Test to get admission in China.
