The annual cost for the Clinical Medicine (MBBS) Program for international students is 19,900 RMB ($2800) per year, which includes the tuition and housing (four shared rooms). The Medicine program comprises six years, including the first year of Mandrine and five years of medical study (including the clinical internship).

The MBBS fee at Kunming Medical University for Pakistani students is approximately 800,000 PKR, which includes the tuition and hostel fee, and this cost does not encompass the food and travel expenses. The average food cost for Pakistani students is 40,000 PKR per month.

Scholarships:

Kunming University of Science and Technology offers various types of scholarships for international students pursuing a Bachelor’s in Clinical Medicine (MBBS). All students with more than 70% marks in Senior High School/WAEC or Grade 12 will receive the Freshman Scholarship of 2000 RMB (at first time only).

After every academic year, Kunming University of Science and Technology evaluates students’ academic achievement, extracurricular activities, and cultural pursuits to determine the scholarship requirements starting in the second year.

Eligibility Criteria:

Foreign students applying for the Clinical Medicine (MBBS) Program at Kunming University of Science and Technology (KUST) for the September 2025 intake must have,

  • The applicant must be a non-Chinese citizen with a valid passport.
  • The applicant must have achieved a minimum of 60% marks in Senior High School/FSC (Pre-Medical)/WAEC or A-Levels.
  • Be within the age range of 17-25 years.

  • Applicant must be fluent in English.
  • Admission requires no admission test, including IELTS or TOEFL.

Admission Requirements:
