Clinical Medicine (MBBS) Program and Cost 2026:

North China University of Science and Technology has offered a Clinical Medicine (MBBS) program for international students since 2005. The Clinical Medicine program consists of a six-year degree curriculum, including five years of clinical study followed by a sixth year of internship.

The annual cost of the Clinical Medicine (MBBS) program is 23,000 RMB ($3262) per year, which includes tuition and accommodation fees (two sharing rooms). This cost does not include travel or food expenses.

MBBS Degree Duration:

North China University of Science and Technology (NCUST) is offering the six-year clinical medicine (MBBS) program in a bilingual medium, which comprises the first year of the Chinese language and five years of the medicine program, which includes the last year of an internship. Upon successful completion of the program, NCUST will confer a degree in clinical medicine.

HSK Exam Policy:

International students pursuing a clinical medicine degree (MBBS) at North China University of Science and Technology must pass HSK-3 in their first year, HSK-4 before internship, and HSK-5 before graduation. 

Admission Requirements:

International students pursuing admission to the Clinical Medicine (MBBS) program at North China Medical University must adhere to the specified entrance requirements:

  • Applicants must have a valid passport and be non-Chinese citizens.
  • Applicant must have a minimum of 60% Marks/Score in Senior High School/HSC/WAEC or GCE A-Levels.
  • The student is required to achieve a minimum of 60% in English and Biology, and 50% in Physics and Chemistry.
  • Students must be healthy mentally and physically.
  • Students must be between the ages of 18 and 25 for the bachelor’s degree program.
  • All the documents should be in English or Chinese.
  • Students from non-English countries will provide an English proficiency letter or IELTS/TOEFL.
