Does a Nepalese student need to pass the common entrance exam for studying medicine in foreign countries?

Yes, as per the Medical Education Commission of Nepal, you need to NOC (No objection certificate) to study medical-related courses in foreign countries for which you need to pass the CEE(Common Entrance Exam).

I have seen many people go without this in some private universities of India and as a consequence, they are not eligible to sit in the license exam of Nepal and hence are not allowed to practice their medicine here as a profession here in Nepal. Also, they can’t sit for further medical examinations also.

To pass the CEE is a pretty decent task even if you circle the mcqs haphazardly 4 “B” and 4 “C” then chances are you may pass the exam whilst THIS IS NOT RECOMMENDED. I know a friend who did this and got pass marks in the exam but it’s purely luck based. But remember, hard work beats everything!!
