The Ministry of Education in China (MOE China) has authorized 43 medical institutions to conduct medical studies in the English medium. To be admitted to the Medicine (MBBS) Program in the complete English medium in China, it is essential to be familiar with the peculiarities of MOE-Listed Universities.
MOE-listed universities are renowned institutions in China and around the world. The Passing Ratio of students who graduated from MOE-listed universities is higher for the Foreign Medical licensing exam (USMLE, PLAB, AMC, NRE, NMC, BM&DC, SLMC, DHA, SMLE, HPSCA, and many others).
Reasons to choose MOE-Listed Universities:
- There is no need to pass HSK-3 or HSK-4 (Chinese Proficiency Test) in the first year.
- These universities are authorized by the Chinese Ministry of Education (MOE China) to offer MBBS (Clinical Medicine) programs in English for international students.
- MOE-listed universities teach medical subjects from the very first day.

Course Duration:
The MBBS (English-taught) program offered by MOE-listed universities consists of a six-year curriculum, including a mandatory internship in the final year (6th year). Students will receive the final degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).

Admission Criteria:
Foreign students applying to the MOE-Listed Universities for the MBBS or BDS (English-taught) Program must meet the following admission Criteria:
- CSCA exam results are required; each university’s internal policy will decide passing marks.
- The applicant must be a non-Chinese citizen.
- IELTS or TOEFL is not required.
- Applicant must have a minimum of 60-70% marks in Senior High School/Grade 12/WAEC or A-levels.
- Students must study a combination of physics, chemistry, biology, and English in their senior high school curriculum.
- Students must be between the ages of 16 and 25.
- The applicant must be healthy (both physically and mentally).
- Students must be fluent in English, and an English proficiency letter can be requested.
